About NFSU Law:

School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy studies is established with the aim of imparting professional education with a special focus of forensic application in all allied areas of law and policy framework. The school aspires to be the leading provider of forensic justice understanding to all professionals from different areas of governance including justice administration. Through forensic lenses it focuses on crime prevention, crime reduction, crime mapping, speedy and fair dispensation of justice, thereby contributing to overall welfare of people.

The world around us is changing tremendously each day. The Legal Services sector and justice administration system is also transforming rapidly in this industry 4.0 revolution which is driven by technology.  Though the lawyers, legal and justice delivery system has remained stubborn in many ways when it comes to technology use for all these years, Covid-19 pandemic compels all the players in the system to adopt and adapt technological disruption including legal fraternity. This change is shaping the future of the law profession in amazing ways. However one of our biggest struggles in the future of the law profession is law schools, as most of the schools are still generating 20th-century lawyers. What we need today is 21st-century lawyers to meet the demand of companies and individuals who want a lower-cost legal option that is conveniently available and delivered electronically.

Eligibility Criteria for candidates seeking admission in the First Year of five-year integrated B.Sc..; LL.B. (Hons.) Programme under the School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, NFSU 1) Candidate has to qualify CLAT exam and admission is based on merit list of CLAT Score of the admission year; and 2) Passed Intermediate/Higher Secondary Board Exam (10+2) in Science Stream or Commerce/Arts Stream with Mathematics or Statistics subject with 50% marks or equivalent (45% or equivalent marks for SC/ST and PWD category)

Hostel Accommodation

As a National University and Institution of National Importance, the NFSU Delhi Campus maintains a limited number of hostels for students, both for boys and girls. The Dean Academics, Nodal o cer for Students’ Welfare, Rectors and Wardens shall look after the overall administration of the hostels. Hostels function with coordination of wardens and respective Rectors. At present, there are three wardens for all the boys’ hostels and one two wardens for girls’ hostels. The warden works and acts in consultation with the respective Rectors. The policy framework/decisions regarding hostels are decided by the Rector, and wardens in consultation with the Dean Academics, Dean Students’ Welfare and Campus Director. Hostel Policies are implemented by the wardens under the supervision of the Rectors.

National Forensic Sciences University’s current building comprises classrooms equipped with projectors, laboratories, library, administrative wing, computer lab, R&D labs, etc. The architectural design for University’s new campus of 50,000 Sq. Mtrs. has already been nalized and this ultramodern campus is currently under construction. It will be centrally air-conditioned, eco friendly & green campus, with high intelligence security systems, hostel / guest house facility, swimming pool, amphitheater, gymnasium, huge playground, cafeteria, large auditorium of 560 seating capacity, lecture theaters, well equipped laboratories and a Learning Resource Center; inclusive of Computers with Internet facilities, together with a voluminous collection of both: Electronic & Printed – Books, Journals, Paper Reviews and Articles.

A world-class underground Ballistics Research Center, an intelligent laboratory and an ultramodern; underground; mini auditorium of 250 capacity, are certain other special features of this campus.
