The University shall prescribe from time to time the fees chargeable for the courses, admission fees, developmental fees, residential charges, and other fees/charges payable by the students. The fees-structure is subject to change and such changes shall be notified in the website. * Note: INR 10,000/ will be retained as Alumni Fee and the remaining INR 20,000/ will be refunded subject to ‘No-Dues Clearance’.

There are two hostels one for boys and the other for girls, with single and double occupancy, with smokeless kitchen, spacious dining area, reading hall, gymnasium, yoga, prayer hall and library room, etc. In order to facilitate the overall growth of its students, the University has developed a congenial and homely atmosphere in its residential campus. The students belonging to different cultural backgrounds amalgamate to bring forth a sense of unity even while retaining their diversity thereby presenting a true picture of the saying, “Unity in Diversity”. This also facilitates the propagation of innovative scholastic ideas.
To ensure an uninterrupted power supply, the hostels have their own generators. The Law University believes in the maxim that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body and that is why it has recently set up two state–of–the–art gymnasiums, one for the boys and one for the girls. The University has provided male and female security to guard the hostels.
The University is built on a sprawling 50 acres of beautiful landscape at Amingaon, Guwahati, which is situated on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, with an imposing hill on the other side. The campus, at present, houses the Administrative Block, Academic Block, Boys’ Hostel, Girls’ Hostel, Power House, Security Barrack, Guest House and Staff Quarters where all modern amenities are available. The campus also houses a Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium and a plush four-storied Library Building. Construction of Quarters for teaching staff, and Vice Chancellor’s Bungalow are underway. Judicial Academy, Assam is located on the University campus, a unique experiment in legal education in which Judicial Academy and the University co-exist in the same precinct. National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam campus have state-of-the-art infrastructure.
University Centres
The University has established several Centres to promote advanced legal studies and research. The
Centers have been set up by the University with the intent to address socio-legal issues and challenges
with specific thrust on the North-East region. The Centres are actively engaged in conducting seminars,
conferences, training programs, and research projects on research areas/target groups pertinent to
NE India.
University Library
National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam Library has a collection of more than twelve
thousand titles in the field of Law, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Over the years, the library has
procured various Law Journals, both print and electronic. Online databases such as LexisNexis,
Manupatra, JSTOR, Westlaw India, SCC Online, HEIN Online, DELNET, Cambridge Book Online, and ELGAR have also been made available to facilitate access to quality material for students.
Games and Sports
The construction of a multipurpose indoor hall, with a Sports Facility, has been completed in the month of October 2020. The building is a single-story dome-like structure strolling across 17,500 square feet. There is a stage, sized 36 feet X 24 feet on one side and a gallery on the other. There are green room facilities on either side of the stage, with toilet facilities for both males and females. There is a VIP lounge inside the hall, with an attached toilet and pantry.
