ABOUT:
The Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), which has its main campus in Gandhinagar, expanded by establishing an additional campus at Silvassa in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH & DD). The DNH & DD is the fastest growing Union Territory in India and are acquiring importance both at the national and international level with the commencement of so many international projects across the UT. With the initiative of the Hon’ble President of India, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and the Hon’ble Administrator, this UT is turning into an education hub, where many reputed institutes have opened their Campuses or also planning to start many more campuses in the near future.
Apart from education, there has been multi-fold development in this Union Territory in various sectors like entertainment, tourism, and trade etc. Therefore, the need was felt that imparting legal education is one of the most crucial requirements for the holistic growth of the region since the law graduates are going to play a vital role in the development of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. With the support of the Administration of UT of DNH & DD, the Government of Gujarat and overall guidance of the members of the Statutory Council of the University, GNLU has established an additional Campus at Silvassa from the Academic Year, 2023-24.

Important Note:
The NRI&FN-UG Candidates are required to pay INR 1,38,000/- and tuition fees of USD 12,500 and PG Candidates are
required to pay INR 1,42,200/- and tuition fees of USD 6000. In addition, USD 2000 and USD 500 need to be paid by UG &
PG candidates respectively as one-time development charges. All fees and payable amounts shall be in accordance with the
Reserve Bank of India/Government of India guidelines. The above fee structure is only for the Academic year 2025-26 and is
subject to revision from time to time by the University and subject to change as per the decision of the Finance
Committee/Executive Council of the University.

GNLU Campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities. Use of bad and abusive language should be avoided within the hostel / University premises. Students are not permitted to keep-in-their possession, room crackers, dangerous weapons, firearms, contraband items or instruments that can cause serious injury to others. Students should not indulge in any illegal and/or unethical activity on the hostel premises. Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks and use of narcotic drugs in the hostel premises is strictly prohibited. Neither the students nor their visitors are allowed to bring or consume liquor, drugs, or any other intoxicants in the University premises. Severe action will be taken against those in possession of drugs or found under their influence.

The spacious 50-acre sprawling campus of GNLU is not only home to its students and staff but also a myriad of trees, flowers, shrubs, butterflies, birds, and other living creatures, including rare and precious species.
